The Mt Barker and Districts Friendship Force began in 1982 and was the first club formed in Australia and has been instrumental in assisting in the formation of other clubs both here in SA in and inter-state.

The Mt Barker & Districts is a collage of interesting and diverse localities, boasting nearness to Adelaide Central Business District, white sandy beaches and internationally significant wine growing areas are just a few 'off the cuff' attractions.
